Introduction

Our PCM (Phase Change Material) is micro-capsulated phase change material produced by UniRule Biotech (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, targeting to be used for advanced cooling mattresses, cooling pillows which produced by the home furniture manufacturers.

Typical Properties

● Precise Phase Transition Temperature: Optimized for human sleep comfort, the phase transition temperature remains stable within the 25–28°C range, effectively aligning with the body’s natural heat dissipation requirements.

● Stable Micro-encapsulation Structure: Characterized by uniform particle size and a high encapsulation rate; resistant to washing and abrasion, the micro-capsules are durable—unlikely to rupture or leak—and offer a long service life.

● Rapid Thermal Response: Capable of quickly sensing changes in body temperature, enabling instantaneous, bidirectional regulation through the absorption of heat for cooling and the release of heat for warmth.

● Stable Physicochemical Properties: Non-toxic, odorless, and non-irritating; exhibits strong chemical stability and does not react with textile fabrics or bedding substrate materials.

● High Processing Adaptability: Easily applied to various bedding components—such as mattress fabrics, pillowcases, and filling layers—through processes including coating, dipping, and spraying.

● Safe and Eco-friendly: Complies with home textile safety standards; free from heavy metals and harmful volatile substances, ensuring a level of safety suitable for use by infants and nursing mothers.

● Other textiles: Cooling seat cushions, back cushions, home textile fabrics, home textile products.

Application Instructions

There are several prerequisites for achieving the desired effects, such as concentrations , processing method and different type of fibers, temperatures.

● A typical dip rolling treatment process as follow：

Thermalcare PCM        100-400g/L
Adhesive agent            45-250g/l
pH                                  6-7
Temperature               110-180℃×70-80sec

●  A typical printing process as follow：

Thermalcare PCM           34-60%
Adhesive                           10-40%
Thickening agent           2-6%
Drying temperature       110-180℃×80-80sec

Storage

-Valid for at least 12 months
-Temperature between 5 ℃to 30 ℃, keep from freezing
