UR 106 CATL, High-Concentration Textile Catalase Enzyme is a highly effective biological enzyme preparation specifically designed to remove residual hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) in textile dyeing and printing processes, ensuring stable quality in subsequent dyeing or bleaching. It catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen, reacting quickly and completely, significantly reducing residual oxygen levels on the fabric surface and preventing oxidative damage and color differences.
This product is a highly concentrated liquid, easy to dilute and with long-lasting activity. It is suitable for deoxygenation processes after cold batch, continuous bleaching, or oxygen bleaching, and can be used for impregnation or spraying before dyeing.
It is widely used in dyeing and finishing plants, knitting mills, and weaving mills processing cotton, linen, viscose, and blended fabrics, and is particularly suitable for high-end products requiring high whiteness and color consistency.

Introduction
UR 106 CATL is a highly concentrated liquid Catalase used to remove the residual hydrogen peroxide after the bleaching, as it can specifically break down hydrogen peroxide into non-active oxygen and water, shortening the process, save energy, water and reduce the pollution for the environment.
It is suitable to be reformulated to ready-to-used product before used in the dyeing mills or denim washing workshops.
Definition of 1 unit of enzyme activity
1 unit of enzyme activity is defined as the amount of catalase required to catalyze the decomposition of 1 μmol of hydrogen peroxide per minute at pH 7.0 and 30°C.
800,000 U represents the total activity that is capable of decomposing 800,000 μmol of hydrogen peroxide per minute under the condition pH 7.0 and 30°C.
The activity of our UR106 CATL is 800,000 U/mL. This means that each ml of the product has a catalytic activity capable of decomposing 800,000 μmol of H₂O₂ per minute under standard condition (pH 7.0, 30°C).

Application
● Fully drain the bleaching liquor from the machine.
● Replemish the machine with fresh water, setting the temperature and liquor ratio to match the upcoming dyeing process parameters.
● Verify that the bath conditions are within a pH range of 6.0 to 7.0 and a temperature below 50°C or at 50°C.
● Introduce diluted UR 106 CATL enzyme at a dosage of 0.06 to 0.1g/L and initiate bath circulation.
● Allow the treatment to proceed for 10 minutes, then test the liquor for any remaining hydrogen peroxide. If detected, wait 5 to 10 minutes, then continue the 2nd test
● Only after verifying the complete neutralization of hydrogen peroxide should the dyeing cycle be commenced in the same bath.
Recommended Dosage
Recommend to dilute UR 106 CATL by 1:15, then use by the dosage of 0.06g/L – 0.1g/L.

may vary between different customers.

Storage
To ensure extend shelf life, store UR 106 CATL at 25 ℃ or below in a sealed container, shelf life 9 months.
