UR 1580, Moisture Wicking Finishing Agent
This UR 1580, Moisture Wicking Finishing Agent is a functional textile auxiliary agent specifically developed to improve the moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties of fabrics. Introduction
UR 1580, Moisture Wicking Finishing Agent is a functional finishing agents that create durable hydrophilic channels in fabrics through chemical means. Their core purpose is to enable originally hydrophobic synthetic fibers (such as polyester and nylon) or slow-drying natural fibers (such as cotton and linen) to quickly absorb, conduct, and evaporate sweat, thereby improving the dryness and comfort of clothing.

Features
● Can be used for alkali reduction processing of pure polyester fabrics; and for finishing polyester-cotton fabrics, significantly improving the fabric’s hand feel, antistatic properties, and hydrophilicity. It can also effectively overcome the stuffiness felt when wearing the fabric, giving it a comfortable feel and excellent hydrophilicity.
● Can be used in the same bath for dyeing and finishing with disperse dyes or for finishing alone; it can also be used in the same bath for finishing with resins and brighteners.
How to Dilute UR 1580 Moisture Wicking Finishing Agent
First, add UR 1580 Moisture Wicking Finishing Agent to the container and start stirring. Slowly add 20% of the water. Once the material is thoroughly mixed, slowly add another 20% of the water. When the liquid becomes very thin, add the remaining water all at once.
Usage and Dosage
● Padding:
Padding (20-50g/L, padding liquor ratio 70-80%).
Drying (80-110℃).
High-temperature stretching (10-190℃*30S, or 150℃*2-3min).
● Dipping:
Dipping: 2-5% (o.w.f), bath ratio 1:10, 130℃*30-60min – Drying.
Dosage: 5-20g/L, room temperature process: one dip and one pad or two dips and two pads
Dipping method: Dosage: 1-5% (o.w.f), Temperature: 30-40℃
Bath ratio: 1:10-15, Time: 30min
