UR-6202, Fluffing Softener is a highly effective non-silicone/micro-silicone composite softening agent that significantly improves the softness, fluffiness, and fullness of fabrics, resulting in a more skin-friendly and comfortable finished product.
Its unique emulsification system allows for even penetration into the fibers, providing both surface smoothness and internal elasticity, thus enhancing the fabric’s drape and wearability. It is suitable for post-finishing processes such as setting, pre-shrinking, and stretching after dyeing or printing, and can be applied by padding or spraying.
UR-6202, Fluffing Softener can be widely applicable to cotton, rayon, polyester, nylon, blended fabrics, and knitted fabrics, it is commonly used in knitting mills, dyeing and finishing plants, garment fabric factories, and home textile companies. Introduction
UR-6202, Fluffing Softener imparts a fluffy and soft hand feel to fabrics. It is suitable for softening towels, polyester, cotton, and their blends, and provides a soft, fluffy finish with hydrophilic properties.
Typical Properties
● Appearance: Pale yellow, opaque liquid.
● pH: 4.5-5.0
● Stability: Resistant to dilute acids and alkalis; stable to electrolytes and hard water.

Application Scope
UR-6202, Fluffing Softener is used to improve the hand feel of towel fabrics, and is also suitable for making cotton and its blended fabrics fluffy and soft.
Usage and Dosage
Dipping Method: Dosage 1-5% (o.w.f), 40℃ × 15-20 min, dehydration, drying, and setting.
Padding Method: 10-50 g/L, padding (one dip and one pad) → setting at 150-170℃.

Storage and Shelf Life
Product keeps valid for 6 months, and shall store the product in cool and dry place.
Precautions
1. Residual alkali in textiles and the pH of the water will affect the finishing effect; therefore, the textiles must be thoroughly cleaned before finishing.
2. The water used for the working solution should be tap water with a hardness of ≤200 ppm. Groundwater or river water must be treated before use.
3. Observe the condition of the padding trough during use: if excessive lint appears, change the material and clean the trough.
4. Although this product is compatible with most auxiliaries, for safety reasons, its compatibility should be tested before mixing and using them together.
