UR 8301, Anti-phenolic yellowing agent
UR 8301, Anti-phenolic yellowing agent is a protective additive specifically designed to prevent textiles from yellowing caused by phenolic compounds, especially suitable for light-colored, white, and sensitive-colored fabrics.
Its mechanism of action involves capturing or inhibiting the oxidation reaction between phenolic substances in the air (such as BHT and substances released from packaging materials) and the fabric or other additives, thus blocking the yellowing pathway and maintaining the original whiteness and color fastness of the fabric.
The product is usually added during the final stages of dyeing or finishing by padding or setting, offering ease of use and good compatibility.
UR8301, anti-phenolic yellowing agent, is suitable for various fibers including cotton, viscose, polyester, nylon, and blends. It is widely used in dyeing and printing plants, garment factories, functional fabric factories, and export-oriented enterprises, and is particularly suitable for fields sensitive to yellowing, such as underwear, children’s wear, light-colored casual wear, and shoe materials.

Introduction
UR 8301 Anti-phenolic yellowing agent can effectively prevent storage yellowing in white or light-colored fabrics made from various fibers, caused by contact with BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene). This is because in blended fabrics, contaminants and BHT can cause phenolic yellowing, and BHT is present in most plastic packaging bags.

Usage and Dosage
1. Padding method
UR 8301 Anti-phenolic yellowing agent: 10-30 g/L
Citric acid: 1.0-2.0 g/L
2. Immersion dyeing method
Dyeing and bleaching can be done in the same bath or added at a reduced temperature of 60-70°C, if only dyeing, it can be added after filling the bath with water:
UR 8301 Anti-phenolic yellowing agent: 1-3% (o.w.f)
Citric acid: 0.5-1.0 g/L
Treat at 70°C for 20-30 minutes, then dry.

Storage and Shelf Life
Product keeps valid for 6 months, and shall store the product in cool and dry place.
Precautions
This product may exhibit different foaming characteristics depending on the equipment used. If excessive foaming occurs, an appropriate amount of defoaming agent can be added.
