UR-8911 Elastic Protective Agent
UR-8911 elastic protective agent is a functional additive specifically designed for fabrics containing elastic fibers such as spandex and Lycra. Its purpose is to prevent problems such as decreased elasticity, fiber breakage, or yellowing caused by high temperatures, strong alkalis, and oxidizing agents during dyeing, washing, and finishing processes.
By stabilizing pH, chelating metal ions, and providing antioxidant protection, it forms an effective barrier for elastic fibers, maintaining their original elasticity and resilience.
UR-8911 elastic protective agent is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing, enzyme washing, bleaching, and finishing processes of blended fabrics such as polyester-spandex, nylon-spandex, and cotton-spandex. It can be added to the dye bath or finishing solution.
It can be widely used in knitting factories, denim washing factories, and garment manufacturers producing sportswear, underwear, and swimwear.

Introduction
Water Washing plants frequently face the issue of elasticity loss in jeans, which arises from multiple factors. These include the inherent strength and construction of the fabric, as well as the entire washing process involving enzyme washing and bleaching treatments etc. Improper control at any stage can lead to broken elasticity, resulting in significant financial losses for clients.

This specialized additive UR-8911 Elastic Protective Agent is introduced into the working bath during the jean washing process to safeguard against elasticity loss. UR-8911 Elastic Protective Agent is particularly effective for jeans made from nylon, spandex, and their blends. It efficiently prevents the loss of tensile strength caused by high temperatures and thermal treatments, while also enhancing the fabric’s durability throughout the washing process.

Application
Recommended Dosage (150 jeans per each belly machine):
● De-sizing: 500g
● Enzyme Stone Washing: 500g
● Bleaching/Rinsing: 1000g (Adjust pH to 10-12 using caustic soda)
Applicable Fabrics:
Mainly used for fabrics with spandex (high-elasticity and colored fabrics), spandex denim, etc., used for washing denim in washing plants and for dyeing procedure of high-elasticity and colored fabrics.

Storage
To ensure extend shelf life, store UR-8911 Elastic Protective Agent at 25 ℃ or below in a sealed container, shelf life 6 months.
