UR-9156 Denim Antioxidant
UR-9156 Denim Antioxidant is a high-performance protective additive specifically developed for denim washing processes. It is primarily used to prevent fiber oxidation damage, strength reduction, and color abnormalities in fabrics or garments during processes such as bleaching, stone washing, and tie-dyeing, which involve strong oxidizing agents (such as potassium permanganate and bleach).
By scavenging free radicals and inhibiting oxidation reactions, it effectively protects the performance of cotton fibers and elastic components such as spandex, maintaining fabric strength and elasticity.
UR-9156 Denim Antioxidant can be added before or simultaneously with oxidant treatment and is suitable for the washing process of denim fabrics and garments made of cotton and cotton blends. It is widely used in denim laundries and garment processing plants.
UR-9156 Denim Antioxidant significantly improves processing safety and reproducibility, preventing problems such as frayed edges and holes, ensuring a natural appearance and good hand feel after washing. It is an indispensable protective agent for high-quality denim washing.

Introduction
Most elastic fibers require pre-setting (at 193℃) before dyeing to prevent fabric deformation during the dyeing process. UR-9156 Denim Antioxidant is a specialized anti-yellowing agent. When applied before setting, it prevents fabrics from turning yellow during the heat-setting process. In process that does require setting, UR-9156 Denim Antioxidant can also function as a scouring/anti-yellowing agent.

Usage & Dosage
● For Setting:
If the grey fabric need setting, pad the fabric with 2%-3%(o.w.f) of this product, add 0.5%-1% (o.w.f) of the penetrant, then dry and set the fabric
● For Scouring( without setting)
If the grey fabric does not require setting, this product can be used in the scouring bath at a dosage of 2%-3% (fluorescent brightener can be added if necessary)
● For After-Treatment
20-30g/L to prevent yellowing or shade change

Storage
To ensure extend shelf life, store UR-9156 Denim Antioxidant at 25 ℃ or below in a sealed container, shelf life 6 months.
